Chapter 19 of “Life Behind the Counter- the Story of Chuck Evans and his Liquor Stores” evolves around the General Motors Corvette Assembly Plant. With both the original Chuck’s Liquors and Chuck’s #1 being located near the Assembly Plant, the impact that GM made upon Chuck’s stores was substantial. Also substantial was Chuck’s impact upon those who worked at the Plant. In this chapter, you will read about:

Thinking back upon my time working at Chuck’s #1, it was a true pleasure to get to know the folks who worked at the Assembly Plant and I know that Chuck felt the same.
