The previous chapter discussed Chuck’s attempt to build a new liquor store in Owensboro. But Owensboro was not the only city besides Bowling Green that Chuck had in mind. Chuck had plans for stores in other places too. Some of these plans were more realistic than others, but this chapter will outline the other places that Chuck considered building. In this chapter, you will read about:
- How close did Glasgow come to having a Chuck’s Liquors.
- What other cities in Kentucky did Chuck consider for a store.
- There were two other states that Chuck considered as well. One you could probably guess, the other will surprise you.
- Why Chuck would never build a store in Louisville or Lexington.
Chuck had lots of other plans for stores, but time ran out on him. If he could have lived another 10 years and been healthy, some of the places mentioned in this chapter would have a Chuck’s Liquors located there.
