The first 100 copies of “Life Behind the Counter-the Story of Chuck Evans and his Liquor Stores” are being shipped out to me tomorrow. This will be the final chapter preview, as I’ll be busy signing and shipping the first 100 copies this week and getting them out to those who purchased one as soon as possible. The final chapters are shorter in length and you will read about:
- Chapter 33- The Writing on the Wall. Chuck had a sense of what was going to happen in the Bowling Green liquor market.
- Chapter 34- Going Home. Chuck passed away on January 28, 2010 and this will tell of that time.
- Chapter 35- Back to the Track. Two good friends of Chuck began an annual tradition of remembering their friend at Churchill Downs.
- Chapter 36- Pearls of Wisdom…..from Chuck and others.
- Chapter 37- The Final Chapter….for now
