Chapter 8 is titled “Chuck Evans’ Liquor Outlet”. This flagship store on Louisville Road was Chuck’s destiny. His ups and downs over the previous 20 years prepared him for what would become a local liquor store with national recognition. In this Chapter, you will read about:

- Why there were two stores known as “Chuck’ Liquors” within 1/2 mile of each other.
- A local bar in Lorain, Ohio that caused Chuck some sleepless nights.
- A major health crisis for Chuck just when he was getting this new store started.
- How some old friends of Chuck came to his rescue.
In my next preview, I’ll give some detail about Chapter 9. Chapter 9 describes an event known as the “Beer Wars”, No one actually lost their life during the “Beer Wars”, but there was plenty of blood, sweat and tears shed.

Great teasers for each chapter. Even though I worked for Chuck and with (almost) all your family, there is a lot you have alluded to so far that I never knew nor considered since I was young and came along well into the storyline. Those were great years, 1990 – 1992. Great memories.
